Even though the release was mostly limited to iTunes sales, Frank Ocean's Def Jam debut, Channel Orange, nearly topped the charts this week. The album came in at number two with an impressive 131,000 copies sold, with some 3,000 or so being CD sales. The official physical release was yesterday, July 17, so it will certainly be interesting to see where the Odd Future crooner lands on next week's chart. Ocean was beat out by Zac Brown Band, which moved 234,000 copies of Uncaged.
