Day one of BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend was filled with highlights, most notably during Jay-Z's headlining set, where he brought out Rihanna for "Run This Town" and Kanye West for "N****s In Paris." Jay-Z also brought out M.I.A., but she had problems with her microphone while performing "Paper Planes."
