Hot 97 on-air radio personality Peter Rosenbergdissed Nicki Minaj's "Starships" song on the festival stage of Hot 97 Summer Jam 2012 yesterday, which led to Lil' Wayne tweeting that Young Money would not be participating in the show, and headliner Nicki Minaj pulling out of the lineup at the last minute. Nicki is set to appear on Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex tonight, so we will hear what her reaction to yesterday's controversy is shortly.

Also, Peter Rosenberg called in to TMZ today to speak on his comment, saying that he was just trying to hype up the crowd who was in attendance on the festival stage to see more underground artists like Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q, and that he's said much worse things about "Starships" in the past few months. He also adds, "Why would she listen to me? I'm a Jewish kid from the suburbs of Maryland who grew up on hip-hop and loves hip-hop. And I take it seriously. But it's just an opinion, man. I don't hate Nicki Minaj. I don't have any beef with her at all." Listen to the entire interview below.
