Nicki Minaj is moving forward from the whole Hot 97’s Summer Jam fiasco. In an interview with UK radio personality Tim Westwood, she said she no longer holds a grudge and that everything is all good.

"I feel like it happened and there is no animosity, I still love them over there at the station. They've helped me a lot as well,” she said. “It's not like we're walking around being angry, we just wanted to prove that one point and that was that.”

It all started when Lil Wayne urged her to pull from the show after hearing morning show host Peter Rosenberg allude that "Starships” wasn’t real hip-hop. This set off the highly publicized phone call between Funkmaster Flex and Minaj that ended up being a very contentious conversation.

The Young Money boss would later comment in the aftermath of his executive decision, saying, “That's a female; first and foremost Nicki Minaj is a female. I don't know what anyone else believes, but I believe females deserve the ultimate respect at all times no matter, when or where or how," he said.
