The 2012 Billboard Music Awards are just a few weeks away. Adding to the growing list of performers, it was announced today that Usher and Nelly Furtado will rock out at the event in Las Vegas.

Usher's performance will take place a month before his upcoming album, Looking For Myself, is released on June 12. Expect singles like “Climax,” “Scream,” and “Lemme See” featuring Rick Ross to appear in his set. Furtado will take the stage at the MGM Grand Arena, performing "Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” off her new album, The Spirit Indestructible, which is due out June 19.

Other previously announced performers include Linkin Park, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, LMFAO, The Wanted, and Cee-Lo Green. Based on the bill so far, it should be a memorable show. The Billboard Awards are scheduled to air on May 20 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
