Fresh off her appearance on 2 Chainz’ “Murder” video, Kreayshawn held a live chat at the Columbia Records offices earlier today. Kreay kept the anticipation growing through Twitter, letting her fans know she would be making some big announcements regarding her debut album, Somethin’ Bout Kreay.
The first bit of news is the self-directed video for “Breakfast" featuring 2 Chainz will drop this upcoming Monday. When the album comes out, she plans on putting special edition cassette tapes of the album, which will be limited to about 100 copies.
She also gave us some details on who made the final cut of the album: “Basically everybody on the album, I fuck with. I fuck with their music, I fuck with them personally.” Kreayshawn says currently they are about 15 tracks. Guest appearances are 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi, Chippy Nonstop, DB Tha General,V-Nasty and Sissy Nobby. Producers include Diplo (who is also featured on the track), DJ Two Stacks of “Gucci, Gucci” fame, Boys Noize, and Cool & Dre. Somethin’ Bout Kreay is slated for a summer release.
