The leader of now-defunct The White Stripes, Jack White, released his solo debut, Blunderbuss, last Tuesday, April 24. If you didn’t catch our preview or purchased the album, you should probably get on that. For the first time in his career, White has topped the Billboard charts at number one, moving 128,000 units. Currently, the album is ahead of Adele’s 21, which remains at number two with 8.9 million total sales in the United States. Lionel Richie takes the number three spot.
