Eminem fans officially have a reason to rejoice today. The Detroit rapper has chosen to put all of his non-music projects on hold to focus on getting back into the studio. The news was revealed by Detroit Free Press, who spoke with Eminem spokesman Dennis Dennehy:
“He’s focusing on his music right now, so while he’s doing that, while he’s in that space, he wanted to put this on hold for the time being,” said Dennehy.
The this Dennehy is referring to is the rapper's planned film, Southpaw, which will feature Eminem playing the leading role of a welterweight boxer trying to make a comeback.
