50 Cent is out in Las Vegas this weekend for his homie Floyd Mayweather's boxing match, and took the opportunity to pay a visit to the local radio station for an in-depth interview with 97.5 FM's on-air personality Bootleg Kev. With a new album on the way July 2nd (it's still untitled) and his Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama The Lost Tape dropping May 15th, 50 had plenty to discuss, from what to expect on his new projects, to the status of Mobb Deep and Lloyd Banks, to the possibility of a reunion with Game. He also talks about his feelings towards Meek Mill as a rapper, and reveals that at one point he was actually going to sign him.
Plus, he discusses who, if anyone, is now the "King of New York," and why new rappers in the game who are making a push to take that spot need to change their outlook on success, saying, "So many artists are trying to get [a record] deal, when they get the deal, they go, 'I made it!' And that's not it."
Oh yeah, he also randomly pulls $400,000 cash out of a backpack and lays it out on the table. Now that's stunting. Watch part one above, and part two below.
