50 Cent revealed in our recent sit-down that he isn’t the type of label head to run around and make things convenient for his artists. He believes that his artists should have enough of a foundation to work for themselves.

When he spoke about one of his artists, Lloyd Banks, during his appearance on Power 106’s “Big Boy’s Neighborhood,” he said that he hasn’t spoken to Banks in about 9 months. And Fif is completely fine with it.

He explained that Banks will have personal moments where he'd rather be secluded, communicating with very few people. He also mentions that this is Banks’ second time choosing to be tucked away, the first being for over a year when his father passed away. Here’s what Fif had to say about Banks’ distance.

"He goes through these things where he goes and there’s no communication and then he goes off and he does what he want. And because I want them to be individuals and operate on they own away from me, I’m fine with it. I’ll tell his lawyers cause his lawyers tell me and I tell them to make sure that he does things. His way of dealing with things is not dealing with it.”
