2 Chainz was set to appear at a concert in North Carolina later this evening. Moments before taking off from LaGuardia Airport in New York City, he was arrested when cops found brass knuckles on his carry-on bag.
Chainz – real name Tauheed Epps – entered the Delta terminal when police stopped him to investigate his luggage. He was then taken into custody and charged with misdemeanor possession of a criminal weapon. The arrested occurred at 1:45 p.m. local time.
The "brass knuckles" in question were not actually a criminal weapon, but a four-finger ring. Expect more details soon.
