Rekstizzy, who hails from Queens, has released his latest visuals for the single, “Posted,” off his debut, Fake It Til You Naked. The self-produced video features fellow rappers JKey and Hoya having plenty of humorous posse moments that involve eating food. It pays tribute to an early rap aesthetic from the black and white visual effect to the ladies sporting imitation Aaliyah outfits, but puts a comedic twist on it.
The song itself has a trunk-rattling bass and flips Biggie’s “true fucking players” line for a hook. We haven’t seen that many MCs repping the Asian community, but Rekstizzy’s wild antics seen here should bring him plenty of attention.
