2pac’s hologram performance at Coachella has triggered a huge boost in the late rapper’s record sales. For the first time since 2000, ‘Pac’s Greatest Hits has re-entered the Billboard 200 chart.
This is actually a good sign of things to come. ‘Pac’s mom must be pleased that die-hard fans are still flocking to buy his music and the younger crowd is getting into it. After all, she did approve and enjoyed the whole hologram idea when Dr. Dre approached her. It also shows that if other legendary artists get the hologram treatment, we could very well see a significant increase in sales once again.
