Nicki Minaj Debuts At No. 1 With "Roman Reloaded"

Just as predicted, Nicki Minaj's Roman Reloaded entered the charts at No. 1, selling 253,000 copies in week one. The album is riding high off the strength of its lead single, "Starships," which is already up to No. 5 in the Billboard Hot 100.

Nicki replaced Madonna at the top, and while the young rapper/pop star did big numbers, Madge fell hard. As we reported, the 53-year-old singer broke the record for the biggest sales drop in a week, going from 359,000 to 48,000, a drop of 86%.
