London Olympics Organizers Ask Keith Moon To Perform At Closing Ceremony

In booking the performers for the Closing Ceremony, the organizers behind the London Olympics made a pretty huge flub. They reached out to Keith Moon, the late drummer for rock legends The Who. And it's not like he's only been dead for a year or so and it was merely an oversight. Moon died way back in 1978 from a prescription pill overdose. Here's what the band's manager, Bill Curbishly, apparently told the organizers in an e-mail response:
