We have become accustomed to hearing slightly more energetic jams from the dub-influenced duo of Diplo and Switch, who together form Major Lazer. So it's nothing short of surprising to hear how they have toned things down for their new single, "Get Free."
Perhaps it was inspired by the guest appearance of vocalist Amber Coffman, who you might know as a member of Dirty Projectors. It's her singing that actually drives this track, as she layers her vocals atop minimalist guitars, keys, and drums.
