Kurt Cobain may best be remembered for the loud, electric grunge sound that he pioneered as the frontman of Nirvana, but there was more to him. We saw him go acoustic with Unplugged In New York, and along with punk rock, Kurt often cited The Beatles as inspiration. According to Hole's guitarist Eric Erlandson, Kurt may have crafted his own White Album. We just haven't heard it yet.

Eric said that Kurt finished an entire solo album before he died, and the project had Kurt going in some really cool directions. He believes that if it had been released, it would have been Kurt's own White Album

On whether or not the music will ever get released, Eric said, "I’m not in control of things. I just wish something would come together. I think the fans would be a lot happier. If nobody ever hears those songs, except for like three people, then … that’s the way it goes.”
