If it seemed like everyone was at Coachella this past weekend, it's because they probably were. The Indio, Calif.-based festival, which expanded to two weekends this year, broke its attendance record, according to reports from the city's police department. Some 80,000 to 85,000 people attended each day of Coachella this past weekend, which is up from 70,000 to 75,000 last year. Will more people be on hand for this coming weekend? We'll see.

In related news, arrests were also on the rise at the music festival last weekend. Police nabbed 134 people this year compared to the 48 who were apprehended in 2011. To put that into perspective, a spokesman for the police department said that they usually make 200 arrests at football games.
