The rumors were false.

Update: We received word from Neon Indian's PR team that he has not signed with Fool's Gold Records. You can read our previous post on the rumor below.

Electronic artist Neon Indian has signed with Fool's Gold Records, according to both of their Twitter accounts.

The news broke late last night when Neon Indian's Alan Palomo tweeted, "Bout to jump on." followed by "#foooooolsgold." Fool's Gold Records tweeted minutes after, confirming the deal.

There are no details on the deal between Neon Indian and Fool's Gold Records, but expect some to surface when an official announcement is given.

Fool's Gold Records' is home to artists like A-Trak, Chromeo, Danny Brown, Duck Sauce, Kid Cudi, Lil B, Party Supplies, and many more.

Neon Indian dropped his excellent Era Extraña last year. It's available on iTunes now.
