TMZ has learned that cocaine was present in Whitney Houston's hotel room at the time of her death. No details on how much was actually recovered, but "white, powdery remnants" were tested and it was confirmed that the substance was indeed cocaine. According to earlier reports, the substance was a contributing factor of her death.
The investigation is at its final stages and rumors swirling about drugs being cleaned out of the hotel room may have been false. Beverly Hills police are not investigating any suspects involved in a clean-up effort because they are in possession of the controlled substance.
