Whitney Houston's Funeral Will Stream Live On The Internet

Fans will be able to mourn from wherever they may be.

This Saturday, February 18, a private funeral for Whitney Houston will be held in the legendary singer's hometown of Newark, N.J. The funeral will take place at Whitney's childhood church, the New Hope Baptist Church, and will be open only to those with invitations. Fans have been gathering at the church, leaving flowers and personal messages, but Whitney's family has made it clear the the funeral itself will be a very private affair. Police security of around 100 officers will ensure that the public isn't allowed entry.

For fans looking to somehow be a part of the event, there is a piece of positive news. Houston's publicist has revealed that the private funeral will be live-streamed online. The only cameras the family will allow at the event will be those of The Associated Press, and the stream will be available to all on http://www.livestream.com/aplive.
