Time and time again, The Roots have proven that they are far more than your typical hip-hop group. Well-versed in music of all styles, the legendary crew has no problem switching things up and adapting to different situations. As Fallon's house band, they do this on a nightly basis, but it's still hard to imagine what they would sound like playing the soft, melodic music of Bon Iver. You no longer have to leave it up to your imagination, because Justin Vernon joined the group on Fallon's set and they jammed out on one song for eight whole minutes.
