Video: Adele Shares Her Struggle After Surgery On 60 Minutes Preview

She didn't even speak for much of November and December.

One of the biggest stories for this year's 54th Annual Grammy Awards, is Adele's big return to the stage. She was confirmed earlier this month as a performer, which would be her first show since her vocal cord laser surgery last November.

In this 60 Minutes preview with Anderson Cooper, she elaborates on what it was like to be mute for almost 2 months while on the road to recovery. "I love to talk," she says. "I found this one app where you can swear, so I’m still really getting my point across.”

During much of November and December, Adele communicated through a pen and a pad, as well as an app that helped her swear (since she loves to curse).

The verdict is still out on exactly what song she will be performing this Sunday at the Grammys, but all eyes will be on her performance. Her interview with 60 Minutes will air at 7 p.m., preceding the award ceremony.
