Moving on without Freddie Mercury is not an easy task, but in the wake of the legendary frontman's passing in 1991, Queen has continued to keep the music alive. In their latest effort to do so, they've enlisted American Idol winner Adam Lambert as their new lead singer.

"The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some fucking great songs," Lambert told the Daily Star. It's to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would've been proud of."

On replacing Mercury, Lambert insisted, "That's impossible. The way I'm choosing to view it is that it's a great honor and one I'm in no way going to shirk."

What do you think? Will Adam Lambert be able to do Queen's music justice?
