Webbie Denies Connection To Alabama Nightclub Murder

It appears that violence broke out at Baton Rouge, La. rapper Webbie's concert this past weekend at the Primetime nightclub in Dothan, Ala. A man was shot and killed at the venue sometime before 3 a.m. Sunday morning, which was when police officers arrived on the scene.

They apparently took Webbie in for questioning, because, you know, it went down at his concert. But when the Internet got wind of it, rumors swirled that he was being investigated for murder.

The Southern rapper's manager made it clear that Webbie was questioned only because police thought he might have some information. But because he didn't, he was free to go without any charges pressed against him. He then retweeted a TMZ article about his not being connected to the crime, which was followed by the tweet below:
