Have you been listening to The Weeknd's latest mixtape, Echoes of Silence, and thinking to yourself, "Hmm, I'd love to play in these guys' live band?" Well, if that's the case, then you're in luck. Frontman Abel Tesfaye and company took to their Facebook page to put out an open call for anyone interested in playing in the Weeknd's live band.
In particular, they're looking for "a professional guitarist and bass player in or around the Toronto area to travel and perform live in concert." If you think you have the chops, you can send the following information to theweekndband@gmail.com: name, age, instrument, and a photograph if possible. Any additional youtube video footage, credentials, etc. of performer is welcome. The open call ends Sunday, Jan. 8.
