In what is one of the crazier stories we've seen in a minute, Nas is being blamed for an apparent kidnapping that took place in an African country over New Year's weekend. According to TMZ, concert promoter Patrick Allocco was allegedly kidnapped after the Queens rapper didn't appear for two scheduled shows in Angola because of a missed flight.

A representative for Allocco's company, AllGood Entertainment, said he and his son were picked up by "goons" hired by Henrique Miguel, a local promoter who put down more than $300,000 for the event. Allocco released a statement noting that if Nas and the show's opener, Jemiah Jai, simply return the money, he and his son can be returned to the States.

As far as their safety goes, Allocco and his son were located and they are now "in residence" in a hotel while the two sides work things out.
