Jack White Announces Solo Album, Releases First Single

Jack White is no longer the helping hand. He's finally branching out on his own.

Jack White has always been the secret ingredient to whatever band or group he's associated himself with. He carried The White Stripes to success, as well as The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather. He's also collaborated with Insane Clown Posse, Danger Mouse, and Daniele Luppi, with the outcomes landing on a lot of year-end lists. Now, White is no longer the helping hand. He's finally branching out on his own.

Jack White announced the release of his debut solo single, "Love Interruption," today from Blunderbess via Third Man Records. The single will be bound with "Machine Gun Silhouette," which will not land on the album, due April 24. "Love Interruption" goes on sale tonight at 12 a.m. You can pre-order the 7" now, out February 7. Listen to the single below.
