After making headlines in 2011 for incidents in interviews (like the dramatic Good Morning America debacle), which brought his personal life into the spotlight, Chris Brown is making one hell of a PR move for 2012. According to a statement from his manager Tina Davis to Billboard, Breezy will not conduct any interviews in the new year as he is trying to shift the focus on music and performance.

Brown has been working on his fifth studio album Fortune and is slated to attend the Grammys next month for the first time since the 2009 altercation with Rihanna, as he is up for three Grammy nominations for Best R&B Album, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song. The verdict is still out on how this move will affect his album promotion considering radio and TV appearances make a big difference in today's market.
