Anthony Gonzalez's latest M83 album, Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, is another triumph for the French musician. To call it epic almost feels like an understatement, even though that term is so misused these days that it's lost all its meaning. But epic it is, what with its consistent cinematic atmosphere, sweeping melodies, and grandiose builds. All of those elements were on full display when Gonzalez and his touring partners in M83 performed album highlight "Midnight City" live for Last Call with Carson Daly.
