Earlier today we got word of Sleigh Bells' upcoming tour with Diplo, and now we have a better idea of what they'll be playing during those shows. The band has dished out some more details on their sophomore album, titled Reign Of Terror and set for a February 14 release (that's Valentine's Day).
The album was recorded with Shane Stoneback, who also helped with their first album Treats, and they promise that the new songs are "heavier than any of the band's previous output, but more melodic as well." For a duo that's already known for being loud and melodic, that's a pretty bold statement. Possibly even more bold, they described the album as "the sonic equivalent of a beautiful shotgun to the head." We're excited.
