Talib Kweli has been one artist very vocal concerning the Occupy Wall Street movement. He made an appearance at the rally during the early stages and spit a verse from this song titled "Distractions," where he speaks on all the sidebar stuff that people worry about more than what's going on in the government and issues concerning regular people. This is that real, and Talib wants people to wake up and start paying attention.
