A couple of the "live" performances at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade didn't go so smoothly. American Idol's latest winner Scotty McCreery forgot to put his microphone up to his mouth for the performance of "The Trouble With Girls," and Avril Lavigne made the same mistake during "WIsh You Were Here."
Both artists recovered very nicely, moving their mouths perfectly in sync with the vocals for the rest of the song. Watch Scott above and Avril below.
