Last night in New York City, Mac Miller held a private listening session of his upcoming debut album, Blue Slide Park. The session was held at Quad Studios (yes, the same Quad Studios where Tupac was shot five times) but the venue seemed more like a coincidence than anything else.

After playing Complex the album, Mac explained at the end of the night, "I wanted to say something cool about the album but I got high and drunk during the listening session."

Can't say we're the least bit surprised. After all Mac built his image on being a guy who'd be fun to smoke and drink with. The artist formerly known as Easy Mac has been kicking around since 2007 but made a big splash last year when he dropped his "K.I.D.S. (Kickin' Incredibly Dope Shit)" mixtape.

Since then he's toured extensively while dropping a few more mixtapes (including the recent I Love Life, Thank You). Along the way he's dropped a huge indepedent hit with "Donald Trump," scored co-signs from everyone from DJ Premier to the real Donald Trump, and even got on a track with Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera. Now Mac's finally ready to drop his debut album. Click through to hear our first impressions...
