This video is a part of Complex's J. Cole week.

J. Cole is having the best week ever. Not only did he release his long-awaited debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, but we hear he's on pace to sell anywhere from 225K to 250K in his first week after allegedly moving over 100K his first day. We won't know the final tally until next week, but either way we here at Complex salute Cole on a successful debut.

In fact, we've been celebrating Cole's new album all week. On Monday, we dropped the trifecta of his animated digital cover, an infographic timeline of his struggle to get off the sidelines, and our cover story (which Cole apparently loved) written by Damien Scott—the Complex staff writer who happened to be Cole's college roommate. On Tuesday, Cole told us about the making of his album and yesterday we even got him to list his favorite sneakers

That was all well and good, but now it's game time. Check out this exclusive video from the set of J. Cole's rim-rocking cover shoot. The rapper (who used to ball well enough to get called back as a walk-on at St. John's University) challenged his old friend D. Scott to a little game of one-on-one that soon turned into a grudge match. It's Montclair vs. The Ville. Let's hope they're still friends after the last shot.RELATED: J.
