Is there a label that gets hit with more lawsuits than Cash Money? Done Deal Enterprises, located in Waynesboro, Georgia, is suing Lil Wayne, Cash Money Records and Young Money Records for $15 million. They claim that the rapper took their copyrighted song "BedRock" and incorporated it into his own track of the same name. They also claim that they have yet to be compensated for it.
To date, the single has sold over 3,000,000 copies and the Young Money album has been certified gold by the RIAA. Looks like it's time for these guys to pony up some more of that "Baby money." Maybe now they'll stop buying cars and start paying for their music.
