Last weekend, Outkast’s Big Boi was arrested after getting caught with the ever so popular combination of Ecstasy and Viagra. Although we hope Sir Lucious Left Foot beats the charge, we weren’t surprised to hear he was popping E pills. Your favorite rapper might love recording tunes about how much weed they smoke (well, unless your favorite rapper is Kendrick Lamar), but more artists are into MDMA than you think.

Guys like Gucci Mane and Ja Rule made songs about them egg rolls (“Pills” and “Extasy,” respectively). And on “Heart of The City” Jay-Z even rhymed, “Get a couple of chicks, get 'em to try to do E/Hopefully they'll menage before I reach my garage.”

In fact, rumors recently surfaced that Amy Winehouse purchased Ecstasy the night before she died (However, a toxicology report has yet to confirm she was on the drug when she passed away). In light of all that, we decided to put together A History of Musicians Using Ecstasy. So take two of these and don’t call us in the morning when you wake up in a ditch.
