Theophilus told Wired that this is his favorite track off his upcoming album Timez Are Weird These Days. He explained that the song was inspired by a trip to Sweden during which he spent three nights watching the French movie I Stand Alone. Afterwards he felt compelled to rep the United States.

The song, as with all of Theo's music, is a blend of genres, influences, and styles. The chorus sounds straight out of Sting's book, and the verses recall some of his previous standout cuts like "Humdrum Town."
