2011 has been a crazy year so far. We've seen everything from rappers feuding with politicians to a confession in one of the biggest hip-hop crime cases ever. With more than half the year gone, we've decided it's time to take a look back at all the news items that have shaped the first seven months of the year.
We've teamed up with our Complex Media Network fam HipHopDX and did a little digging through the archives in order to put together The 25 Biggest News Stories of 2011 (So Far). From January through the first three weeks of July, we’ve considered every story and picked out all the head-shakers and eye-poppers that had everyone talking. Pop the hood to see all the events that dominated this year's water cooler conversation.
