The first track off Washed Out's upcoming debut LP Within and Without is the perfect way to start off a summer album. The song starts off with a few echoing synths and slowly builds into a lush soundscape of hazy harmonies and layered production.
Washed Out is the alias of Ernest Greene, who started off recording in his bedroom in Georgia and is now working on his album with Ben Allen, who has produced for Animal Collective and Gnarls Barkley. Within and Without will be out on Sub Pop on July 12.
