Yesterday, we reported that Cali Swag District member M-Bone was murdered in a drive-by shooting. Today, the "Teach Me How to Dougie" rapper's girlfriend spoke to the press.
The incident was allegedly triggered by the jealousy of a man living in their apartment complex. According to the unnamed girlfriend, Talbert was always hostile towards M-Bone and envied the group's success. He and M-Bone went at each other's throats on the popular social networking hub, Twitter.
M-Bone's girlfriend stated she picked the rapper up at the airport around noon on Sunday and dropped him off at his apartment. At around 10 p.m. M-Bone took his girlfriend's vehicle and told her he was heading to the studio. Once the rapper walked out the door, she never heard back from him. One of the group members called to let her know the tragic news.
As of right now, no arrests have been made.
