FBI Releases New Details On The Notorious B.I.G.'s Murder Case

It has been 14 years since hip-hop lost The Notorious B.I.G., but the case surrounding the rapper's open murder case remains a mystery. The FBI recently published hundreds documents through the Freedom of Information Act on their website The Vault that include new details about the night Christopher Wallace was shot dead in Los Angeles.

The assailant used a Gecko 9mm gun to kill Biggie, a weapon not readily found in the United States and considered rare ammunition. The Vault also released the property report from the night of the murder, stating The Notorious B.I.G. was in possession of a bag of marijuana, three condoms and an asthma inhaler.
