Sometimes when tracks don't make the cut on an album, they go into the vaults, never to be heard from again. In this instance, M.I.A. didn't even have a copy of the track herself, but in a message to Pitchfork, she explains that the producer of the track leaked the record and dates it all the way back to 2003.
