Earlier today, a New York City judge set a June 8 prison date for Ja Rule to begin serving his two-year prison term on attempted weapon possession. He pleaded guilty on the gun charge back in December when police found a loaded gun in his car when it was stopped for speeding after a concert back in 2007. Ja will spend the next few months working on his upcoming album titled, Renaissance Project.
