Wavves already hit us with marijuana grinders and Wavves-branded rolling papers. Now, the San Diego-based band is looking to push the envolope even further with its own strain of weed. "I smoke too much weed. I think that's how I come up with these things," frontman Nathan Williams told Spinner. "I've tried to get a strain of weed—Willie Nelson has one, Snoop Dogg has one. That would be really cool. It would just be called 'Wavves' because I think that would be a pretty good name."
Williams also revealed non-weed related plans for his band, including the release of a comic book. "There's a lot of other things in the works. I'm writing a comic right now with a friend of mine, so I'll probably bring that along pretty soon [as merch]."
