Although he is still under management with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, Wale revealed on Twitter that the ink is dry and has officially signed with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group which is currently in the middle of a major bidding war between Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, Birdman’s Cash Money, Lyor Cohen's Warner Music Group and Jimmy Iovine's Interscope-Geffen-A&M.
Rick Ross was in L.A. last month where he attended a dinner at Mr. Chow with a ton of industry folks including the "30-year-old Justin Bieber"—who is actually Todd Moscowitz, CEO of WMG’s Independent Label Group (ILG). Could Rozay be taking MMG to WMG?
