Tyler, The Creator Finally Meets Justin Bieber

Tyler, The Creator Finally Meets Justin Bieber
Earlier tonight, Odd Future's Tyler, The Creator tweeted a pic of himself hanging out with Justin Beiber. For Biebs (who was recently in the studio with Kanye West) this is yet another hip-hop co-sign. Judging by his tweets, Tyler—who recently commented about how Biebs was close to aknowledging him—considers just being near the teen star (who he claims likes his song "Yonkers") a win. And win is what Odd Future's been doing for the last two weeks. First Tyler dropped (what 'Ye dubbed) the video of the year with "Yonkers," then they announced signing a one album deal with XL Recording, and they absolutely tore it down on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The only question for us is, how long until Biebs and Tyler get on a record together? Peep Tyler's tweets below.

so i finally gave oddfuture an honest listen. As far as the video, Yonkers, very creative, I dont know if credit should be given to the videographer or Tyler...I love the energy displayed on Jimmy Fallon. I hate to see stoic, lifeless hip hop acts. Lyrically, its nothing new, and no substance to much of their words, just alot of shock and awe. Shock and awe that have cataputled Oddfuture to this point due to the blantant disrepect, ranting tweets, and "odd" behavior of tyler. Ppl like new shit, and taboo. N they have it. I wouldnt deem this hip hop tho, more like a fad, hip-hop foundation is rooted in riteousness, not devil music...so overall in the opinion of ablacktv dot com ...I can't fck with Tyler, his attention seeking antics, and promotion of hate music that will only further erode the minds of the youth. Everybody on this.."ooo they came from nothing to something so i respect that"...well...so did every drug dealer in your community...but their product still destroys minds... follow @ablacktv

i've never been a big fan of horrorcore type stuff (i know they say that's not what it is, but alot of tylers stuff is pretty horrorcorish) but its not the content that makes it anything special. They have the sickest, more innovative, and most musically diverse beats in hip hop WITHOUT A QUESTION. and every one of them is dope at rapping- particularly hodgy and earl. tyler may be the figurehead, but i don't even think hes the most talented member of the clique. Listen to "blackenedwhite" and "yellowhite", and don't just dismiss it for the subject matter, because that's what i did at first. After i stopped letting that effect me though i've really been enjoying them.
