Last time we talked to Bethany Cosentino, she was writing new music for Best Coast. Now we get to hear some of it. The California girl's latest is "When You Wake Up," a breezy beach number that sounds out of place in the middle of a snowstorm. It does sound a lot like some of the other jams on Crazy For You, though. Her boyfriend Wavves went in the other direction, completely switching his style up on "Stained Glass (Won't You Let Me Into Yr Heart)." Both songs are featured on the couple's just-released 7-inch split, Summer Is Forever—and the project goes hand-in-hand with their upcoming tour. Power couple? We think so.
