What happened? On "Black Friday," Kim piggy-backs off of Nicki's recently released debut album, Pink Friday. She reverts back to Kimberly, the lyrical Brooklynite who once held her own with giants, and does her best to let Nicki know she hasn't gone anywhere, swearing that, "If I whistle, they'll pistol-whip you in all five boroughs."
Complex says: Finally, after all the back and forth in interviews, someone takes a straight lyrical jab. Not that this song is any good or that we have any interest in listening to it again, but at least now maybe Nicki will respond with a lyrical assault of her own.
