Missing In Action: 5 Sophomore Albums That Took Years To Come Out

Today, Rah Digga's sophomore album, Classic, hits stores. While we always had love for Dirty Harriet, we couldn't help but ask what took so long—her first album dropped 10 years ago! See, the time period between an artist's first and second album is crucial: It's usually their chance to firmly establish themselves if their debut was a smash, or re-build a buzz if their debut wasn't well-received. We're sure Digga got held up by a combination of label and life issues, but either way we're glad she's back. Besides, she's not the only rapper who took a long-ass time to drop a second album. And we're taking this chance to celebrate/admonish a few others. Gotta strike while the iron's hot, y'all!

Co Sign! All Mos albums have some timeless gems amongst ok songs. Its just how far left you'll go with him but I respect all his creativity. Most artists get stale with the same sound.
